If you’ve lost your way on a project, pop along to our ‘knit surgery’ for some 1:1 advice. A team of knitters will be on hand throughout the day to offer their suggestions to help you complete your project. This is a drop in session with consultations of up to 10 minutes.
12 noon
Longstanding commitment to a project award - Bring your oldest UFO that gives you cold sweats and keeps you up at night. Enter your project in our contest: come to the Knit Surgery to register when you arrive. Awards given at Noon.
12:30pm
Lasta pasta casta - Fun event for all ages! Knitting with hard thin spaghetti noodles as the needles. Contest starts at 12:30.
1pm
Fastest knitter - Think you're the fastest knitter in town? Bring your 4.5mm needles and prove it! Contest starts at 1pm.
1:30pm
Most improved knitter - Whether it's your first time or you've cast on before show us how much you've learned in 2 hours. Express your interest in this contest on arrival at our Knit Surgery. Contest winners announced at 1:30pm.
2pm
Knit your own alien - results announced at 2pm. A design and crochet/knit competition to protect your stash of UFOs.
